LDCA – The History of Building Our Future

On March 22, 2017, Woollatt Building Supply was honoured at the London District Construction Association’s Annual Gala themed “The History of Building Our Future”. Held at the James A. Colvin Atrium at Fanshawe College, Woollatt Building Supply was recognized as a remarkable member company for 100+ years contributing to the construction industry of London and area. Woollatt Building Supply (WBS) was established in 1905 and continues to provide the highest quality materials and maintain the highest level of service through the continued dedication of its owners, staff and valued suppliers.

Woollatt’s was presented with a one-of-a-kind oil painting that contained illustrations of the original building, new building and one of the trucks at a job site. The painting will be hung at the Woollatt location at 700 Sovereign Road in London.

ABOUT LDCA: The London & District Construction Association (LDCA) brings together, in one organization, small, medium and large sized general contractors, trade contractors, manufacturers and suppliers of construction material and equipment, and other firms associated with the construction industry.  The primary role of the association is to provide Leadership to all of their members through; Advocacy, Education, Innovation and Support.

Located in London, Ontario, the LDCA serves the counties of Bruce, Elgin, Huron, Perth, Middlesex, and Oxford and promotes the growth of the construction industry in these areas. The LDCA is governed by the members, elected officers and appointed representatives from all sections of the membership. The Association acts as a single voice to promote and campaign for the construction industry.
